Re: What Colour?
Mine's Opel silver!!!
Only kidding, its rising blue. Although when i was looking I swore I wouldn't get a blue or red one as all the ones on Autotrader seemed to be those two colours. I really wanted Sumatra but then saw a blue one in the metal at the dealer, got made a great offer on it and couldn't resist.
Plus I've got a black car at the moment and it drives me mad, looks great when clean but always looks dirty, think Sumatra could be a similar story.

cole tickle, similar theory to me, my old motor was a similar colour to sumatra and looked stunning when clean in the sunlight but nightmare to keep clean and chips scratches really stood out, the rising blue hides the sh#te well especially on the sills, if i'd gone white i'd have never done it justice

Thinking Sumatra with Truffle Leather.
Would prefer to see on in the flesh first though before ordering.
Oak Green Mk2 GTIs are always sought after and I'm hoping Sumatra will be the Oak Green of the Scirocco.

Oak green gti always wanted one. As much as I love the Sumatra it would drive me up the wall trying to keep it clean as i live in a very agricultural area.

I've got a friend with a dead oak green 5dr that's been sat on her drive for about 4 years! She likes it too much to scrap it!!!
Re: What Colour?
Hello, everybody!
I've fallen in luv since I test-drove a 160PS 2 days ago...
I would like to ask if there is anybody to have chosen the Dark Brown (Code: 7C) color?
Quite bizzare color-option, but I am "cowardly" thinking of it...Any photos would really help!

Thanks, for the response m8!
Well, on the German site it is listed as "Dark Maroon Metallic"...
I guess it's what you quoted and I find the color...amazing!

Re: What Colour?
Saw one at the local dealers today in Pewter and thats really quite nice for those looking for something a little less loud.
Re: What Colour?
My view is that dark colours do not look good on the Scirocco, as they fail to make the best of the detailing, especially at the front. The white does look good and leaves a few hundred quid to spend on something else but in the end I just thought it would be too noticeable to both plod and the crims and would be a nightmare to keep clean. So went with next lightest colour- reflex silver. This also has the advantage that you don't have to take all the bits off (badges, wheels, etc.) to colour code them - as they are as near as damn it the same as the car anyway!

Re: What Colour?
Silver doesn't work for me, I saw one in a showroom and being collected, and for me it just didn't show off the cars looks enough.
Black does sort of the same for me as silver, I think it hides too many details.
However, although, yes white (and green sometimes blue) are all over the brochures, reviews and adverts, I really think that it is the brighter colours that show it off more, I was close to picking red but all the pics of white ones blew me away.
