Just wondering where everyone mounts theirs, my Tom Tom fits great in the fron tray with the cigarette lighter socket, at least when its not plugged in - it still fits with the plug in socket but its tight and the plug obscures the r/h side of the display.

I found a small almost flush 12v to 5v DC adapter in Maplins with USB output which would have been great but only rated at 1.0A when the Tom Tom draws 1.2A.

Any ideas guys

I usually stick my Tom Tom to the bottom right corner of the windscreen. Easy to see/hear and operate without obscuring the view ahead. Yes, you have to put up with a cable leading to the power socket but it isn't too bad.
