Xeon photo request
Hi all just a quick post, has anybody got a photo of their rocco with xeons at night with the lights on? im interested to see what they look like as ive ordered them but the dealer didnt have one in the showroom with xeons so couldnt show me, do they have a blue tinge or will i have to change the bulbs in order to create that?
Re: Xeon photo request
Xeons are Intel cpus for servers and high perfromance workstations
Pedant mode off:
Xenons make one hell of a difference to the lighting performance of your car, no photograph will adeqately show you, the light is white, not blue, about 4500K temparature, the Blue ones are around 6000K.
My Rocco has factory Xenons and my Boxster has HIDs retro which are 6000k units. The Rocco has better lights but the Boxsters are still FAR better than high performance bulbs.
So white is best, blue is good and yellow (std & hi perf bulbs) are shite. You can get some very white bulbs which are close to 4500K but they're not CE approved (I use a set for main beam on the Boxster so they almost match the HIDs) but I wouldn't use them for dipped beam as they could frazzle your wiring.
Hope this helps.

Re: Xeon photo request
Thanks for all the replies guys, is it possible to pop a blue bulb straight in or does it have to stay as white?
Re: Xeon photo request
You may be able to buy 6000k replacements, but they're expensive, why do you want to make the lights worse?

Blue lights are becoming tacky now as every pikey in his Civic has gome some from Halfords. White ones are the best overall performers and will not disappoint.
