Hello,
I have a problem with my Rocco.
Last week my battery was dead but hence the cold weather I thought it 'could' be normal.
But now it seems that my cooling fan and airco fan keeps going on and off even when the engine is off and cold.
when I pull the key out of the ignition, it takes about 2-5 minutes and then both the cooling fans go on at full speed for about 2 minutes.
Stay off for like 30 seconds and on again for 2 minutes. Continuing till my battery is empty.
Does anybody have an idea what this could be? Some sensors or some electronic faults?

If you have got VCDS or access to it, check for a fault, DTC 00819. It most likely that your AirCon G65 High Pressure sensor is out of tolerance. Could also be a broken wire at the connector.
Replace the sensor, part number 1k0 959 126D. About €35 - €45. Warrenty claim is possible, known problem. Not an easy place to get too either. Discharge/Recharge Aircon + Bumper off?

Okay thank you!
At the moment he is with a friend who has a Vagcom system so we'll check it out first.
I recently had a small accident so I replaced the front of my Rocco. Had the airco refilled and it occured after that.
Could it have to do something with a bad filling?

Yes. May have cracked the pipework at the front allowing gas to escape.Jeuxnathan wrote:I recently had a small accident so I replaced the front of my Rocco. Had the airco refilled and it occured after that.
