Spotted a Polo Gti today in Coventry with Xenons / LED running lights , looked good. Can't be long before the Roc gets updated front and rear lights surely?RedarT wrote:I hope to offer bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, like Scirocco R. Golf and even Polo(!) has LED when ordered with bi-xenon headlights.
What are they thinking!?

Re: MY2011 changes
I agree. Pretty much the whole of the range has had a nose job in the last year with those LED DRLs so I would think that at least is on the cards soon.

Re: MY2011 changes
Start/stop system will be fitted as standard from week 45. It was time to match the competition in this section. Less emissions and fuel consumption.
Re: MY2011 changes
Anyone heard of the "Black Oak Brown" color, replacing the "Dark Maroon" color?? Who knows what this colour really looks like?
Re: MY2011 changes
I haven't heard of it but it should be very similar to the old one, only side by side comparison would distinguish them.

Good man
Roccopedia updated.
I'd be interested to see dark oak. I'm not normally a fan of brown cars but it seems to be a bit of a trendy colour at the moment.

Re: MY2011 changes
But what options will become standard to the GT ??
Re: MY2011 changes
the only standard spec changes will be the climate dials & amended DSG shift (if applicable), as all others on the list say optional then they will be optional so no additions to standard spec apart from the tweaks to finish as mentioned, standard spec will remain as is.

Re: MY2011 changes
not sure if anyone will know the answers, but here goes with the stupid questions, you all new I would step up to the mantle
1. What's the difference in the Bluetooth? I have order BT on my next Roc, but if this is better I will get them to change the order.
2. To be clear, a GT 170TDI DSG will still get the MFSW no charge?
3. Errrrmmmm... what do the new DSG paddles look like.
4... is this new MFD basically the one on the EOS?
Thanks
Paul

Re: MY2011 changes
its the blutooth that works with the iPhone, but you have to tell them to change the order to this if you want it. Gt standard spec will be the same with the addition of the above changes so yes, it's the same mfd that's on the new eos

Re: MY2011 changes
I don't think it's new paddles, I think it's a new gear lever. The new Eos one looks like this below so odds on it's the same.jammyd wrote: 3. Errrrmmmm... what do the new DSG paddles look like.

Re: MY2011 changes
So what other differences exist with the Bluetooth, can you then retrofit it to a scirocco? Does the colour display offer any additional benefit other than being colour? If you already have an RNS510 what feature does it actually add?

Re: MY2011 changes
Technically this particular gear lever was used in the scirocco bologna, doesnt go well in the scirocco imo. I beleive tho for the scirocco-r the recaros are a bit too expensive . Also, what i would like to see on the scirocco on the part of vw is not to be too cheap/neglecting. I mean why is the scirocco the last in the line to get front or rear leds (not even sure theyll put leds), i mean common the 2011 eos has it WTFKev wrote:I don't think it's new paddles, I think it's a new gear lever.
