Changes to the Scirocco

Quick question,

Ordered my car about three weeks ago and expecting it to arrive in Dec (Although received no documents yet!)

As and when they make changes to the car at what point are these applied. e.g. if something is annonced next week is it on mine/ were is the cut off point etc?

There have been usual week 45 changes in the past, so you should get any changes that this brings. I think there is a thread on this somewhere.

Apart from that, I dont beleieve there are any specific changes you will get, unless there is a problem with component supply etc...

Get your "commission number" from your dealer and ring up VW customer services to see if they have any additional info for you, in terms of production dates. You will find you will have to ring up a few times over time, and at some point they will confirm the production week for your car, typically a few weeks before the actual production week.

Perfect, all I need to do is find out form my leasing company the dealer or get him to find those details for me , looks like I will get any additions, I have ordered a night blue colour and I believe that is one of the changes anyway

rob, the rumours tend to appear a few weeks before usually, if you get some spare time browse the previous changes threads in Scirocco News & you will see the trend of when we tend to hear about them

I stand corrected and look forward to news of changes. Preferably: rear camera at no extra cost compared to parking sensor; keyless entry; 10% improvement in fuel consumption; world peace.
