Will Thule 591 Proride Bike Carriers fit on VW Roof Bars

Will Thule 591 Proride Bike Carriers fit on VW Roof Bars

I have a pair of Thule 591 Proride Bike Carriers and was wondering if they will fit (clamp) onto VW roof bars? Any advice appreciated.

I have the VW roof bars and the carriers attach using a bolt with a square plate on the bottom which slides into the bars, so you mount the bike carriers by sliding them into the bars.

Does that sound like the Thule carriers?

Thanks that does sound very similar. If I post a pic of the bolt and the measurements would it be possible for you to do me a favour and check if it's the same size as yours? ;)
