Hi Guys
Has anyone ordered a 2.0TSI GT of late, if so what sort of discount did you receive?
Thanks

Cant remember the exact figure in the end as I took a stock model with almost the exact spec I wanted and not what i planned to order. I printed off all the online prices from people like autobytel and myquotes (both basically inchscape) and used them to negotiate a discount, with the good px price I got it was pretty close to what i was offered online but I got to stay with my local dealer.
Also insisted on car mats being thrown into the deal too, not paying £75 for them! Did give in on their GAP insurance when they dropped it to £250 instead of £449 but refused all the other insurances and paint protection etc
If I remember I will dig out the paperwork when I get home tonight and let u know

Thanks Andy that would be great. My Roco will be two in September and if the price is right I might just order a new one while the residual values remain so high.

Just looked at my order form and worked out the price for what I ordered on VW website, I got £1200 off the list price plus an extra £400 on the PX price on my car, could of done a little better online but this way I only drove 3 miles to the dealership

Ordered in February. They give you the BS of 'niche' car, can only order 2 a month. When I got mine, I saw the dealers system and only had two other roc's on order.
Got £600 off 'friends and family reduction'. VW UK tell them no discount as its not needed. Plus LifeShine. Bartered mats and full fuel tank by saying another group offered them for same price. Then got bit more money when chopping in my old car.

Re: Anyone ordered a 2.0 TSI of late?
I ordered at the end of March and took delivery on Friday. A lot quicker than I thought! I managed £1200 off plus 3 years free servicing (worth £250) and got another £200 for my px as the new car arrived earlier than the dealer thought it would. Could have probably got a bit more for my MK5 GTI if I sold it privately but it needed an MOT, 3rd year service, 2 alloys re-conditioning and a few other things and I thought after paying for all that and the fees for selling it I wouldn't have been a lot better off so put it in.
Might have only been my dealer but when I picked the car up he said May had been a quieter than normal month for new car sales so might be a decent time to place an order?
