I read Quentin Wilson's column in the sunday mirror and he highly recommended these as protection for wheels. The silver ones actually make them look bigger.

Does anyone have any experience of these? they look pretty easy to put on.

Saw the video and it just looks wrong to me, forcing these between the tyre and wheel...im not sure how it retains balance given that the tyre will not be wrapped around the same sized wheel on one side...

Hmm, I'd like to see someone's experience with them on the interlagos before I fork up for a set. The concept seems great though and a small price to pay for saving your alloys.

Not sure why you'd need these on interlagos - there's a generous overhang of rubber on the wheel rim already (unless you've changed tyres from the standard Dunlops or Pirellis), around 6mm. You'd really have to clout the tyre off a kerb to go beyond the overhang and grind the wheel.

As mentioned before, i'm also a bit sceptical about wheel balancing issues.
