Slight jump when new track starts on iPod?

Post by spamdog »

So just got my R, it has the full UK spec factory dat nav fitted.
When playing my iPod on shuffle mode there seems to be a quick "jump" or 1 second of silence when a new track starts playing.
I have the proper iPod cable from VW, anyone know if this can be sorted?

I had the same stereo on my GT but it didn't have the firmware upgrade and it never done this.
Ideas anyone?

It seems to not do it every time, but does on quite a few songs.
Very strange as no problem at all on my older 58 plate GT i had!

Yeah, mine does it too. It's particularly annoying during a mixed album... :(

**Edit: Just noticed this is in relation to the RNS rather than the RCD which I have, sorry!
