Saw first Scirocco in my colour at the weekend at a non-VW dealer near Bradford. Really pleased with the colour, although it has more of a blue tinge than I was expecting and is (unsurprisingly) very different to the colour on the new vehicle configurator on the VW website!
It was a 59 plate and looked spotless, but I was surprised how high the price was. Car had done 3000 miles, was a GT 140bhp diesel manual, the only optional extra was reversing sensors and the sticker price was £75 more than I'll pay for mine next month. However......mine will be the 2.0 GT with DSG and cruise.
The dealer obviously thinks people will pay a high premium not to have to wait.
Should I have ordered two?!

Re: Should I have ordered two?!
During the long and tedious wait for my Roc I began to wonder if I could 'jump the queue' and by a good low mileage used.
Not a chance! Sure, there were a few around but the prices........ bl dy hell, they were steep!

I thought the same thing....
But my wait continues as I took ages to get round to placing the order..
But still sure I've made the right choice.
