How will i sleep tonight!?
My roc arrives tomorrow....24hrs from now i will be the proud (grinning like a maniac) owner of a roc.
The last 5 months have dragged like an eternity. But as the final hours arrive how will i sleep tonite? Should i just stay awake and look at roc pics all night? Should i have a few beers and savour the moment? Or should i get my flipping shovel out and clear the snow?

I'm getting mines in the next couple of days too!
I know how you feel, I ordered at start of July! It's been ready for 5 weeks now but I've chosen wait until after 1st Jan to get it registered as 2010 in N.Ireland

I hate the last day its the longest. But you can still sleep, you need some rest so you can drive all day once you get your roco You dont want to be tiered from looking at all those pics, or a hangover from all those beers

You are right. . . . . .but my arms are sure aching from snow clearing! I've booked the next two days of work for roc 'familiarisation'.
I can't wait . . . get some good tunes on the CD and just drive and drive and drive.

The excitement is really building now. VW have just called to say my car will be delivered on the back of a truck tomorrow morning at approx 10.30 . . . . . . .and it's a fond farewell to my trusty fiesta (been a very reliable car for the last 3 years....but i can't be arsed giving it a last clean!)

Enjoy your new toy. I'm very envious. I've waited five months thus far and still have potentially two to go (Thanks to the dealer by the looks of things...).
Looking forward to seeing some pics.
Night, night and all that....

You'll get over it, I'm pretty sure.
The moment you sit in front of your brand new dashboard with a brand new steering wheel you'll forget the past months instantaniously.
I picked mine up at the VW factory in Wolfsburg-Ger, the moment my name appeared on the screen my heart made a quite big jump. It's simply a great feeling, enjoy!

One hour till delievery. I've written out the list of new car checks (to be on the safe side).
After that i'm going driving! I may be out for quite some time.

Re: How will i sleep tonight!?
Roads in leeds/bradford are pretty clear (main roads). I'm expecting to see the delivery truck (and my car) at any moment!
My heart is pounding!
First stop petrol station (in case it doesn't have a full tank).
Second stop halfords for all the car maintenace and cleaning goodies.
Third stop ASDA. . .i've run out of milk!
Then it's infinity and beyoooooond!

Re: How will i sleep tonight!?
They are very late in delivering. It is coming up from nottingham and so far they've been on the road for 3 hours for a 90 mile journey. To be expected i suppose in this weather. It is beautiful here in bardford but no idea of the conditions in the midlands. I'll give it another hour and then i'll call the delivery driver for a progress update.
Be just my luck to have the delivery postponed but he must be well on his way by now.

I work in Nottingham and the back road are still pretty bad unfortunately. I'm sure it'll be there soon though!

Re: How will i sleep tonight!?
Where is it being delivered to then? Surely not the VW dealers as they would have to then PDI it which takes a few days?
