Production Confirmed?

Hi, Sorry to post a new thread as I'm sure this has been answered before.....

How far in advance do VW tell you your car is production confirmed. ie tell you the build week of your car before its built? And I'm not talking dealer estimates either!!

I ordered mine at the end of June, but being the smart arse I am I changed my order so I got the week 45 changes. How many weeks in advance do you get told a built date as mine is still not confirmed? :cry:

VW system goes Production Frozen about 4 weeks ahead of the production build week from indications in the last few weeks.

Week 43 Build has happened on time! 22 Oct'09 Scirocco is at Check Point 5 in the factory
23 Oct'09 Now Complete on the dockside, 24 Oct'09 Sailed from Portugal, 27 Oct'09 In the UK,
29 Oct'09 at dealers Driving 4th Nov. Sorted!
