This thread got me thinking, what car to get next ? :D

What's everyone else thinking? Or what have people got next?
How long or how many miles do you intend to keep the Roc for?

---
Intend to keep for 3 years/30,000 miles, though traditionally have always changed before. Though this time don't really have any idea what to get next :? , probably because I like this car a lot despite all the niggles, rattles etc!

I'll be keeping mine for at least 3 years. Probably more like 5-10. No idea what I would swap it for but to be honest, the next gen version would do me fine.

I’ll be getting rid of mine in May of next year it will be 13 months old and I expect to have done about 7,000 miles by then.

As for my next car I don’t really know what to go for I’ll see how I feel at the time and what good offers are on the go at the time.

normally 2 years or 50,000 miles, have a feeling it may last 6 weeks to 6 months, candy white 3 door Golf R with buckets is floating my boat at the moment, suitable Golf R stop gap has been found though dealer needs to wise up on the asking price

Same as Kev, 5-10 years realistically. only do 8000 a year roughly, so barely be properly run in by then! Love the car, size is just right, and its got everything I want on it, so why change!! Who knows what will be around in a few years, the Roc will prob be huge by then, like the ever expanding Golf!

4 - 5 years, but then I've not yet managed to keep a car past 2 and a half years - the one before the Roc lasted all of 17 months.
But this one's a keeper.
Probably.

It's hard to decide, there are so many nice cars coming out and the second hand market is crazy performance per pound wise!

Sat in a 370z which was very nice. The toyobaru coupe will be intersting if they do an sti model too. Wonder what you'll be able to pick a GTR up for in a few years?

Next one may well be a revo'd vw bluesport though...

I think mine will be with me for the finance term at least (3 1/2 years)! I've never had a car more than 6 months before but I've also never spent more than a grand on a car before!
