I've now got the reg number, paid all money that needs to be paid....

No definate date as of yet...

Does that mean car is built and in the country ??

i paid on handover but if you pay by cheque or something that takes time to clear then i think its 5-10 days before?

Hmm, very trusting of you!

I paid using maestro debit card. Did put my pin number etc in until I'd taken delivery and had a look over the car first.

Hopefully not long to wait now!

Might be a stretch making that last until Jan :D
But yes, definitely recommend getting that arranged. In fact if I remember right you have to get it arranged with the free insurance so they can tax the car.

I was the same, paid by credit card 10 mins before I drove out the dealership after having a good look over the car, which I was encouraged to do by the dealer. Everything was great though, went smooth as can be.

I actually chose my number plate when my status was still "On Ship" so it doesn't mean definitively, that your car is already here. Fingers crossed though!
