Anyone knows where I can mail order a set of sill protectors ? I've checked with my local VW distributor and even supplied them with the part numbers. They claim that they can't order the parts - can't believe them... even showed them the parts brochure printed out... crap !

Mine came straight from VW Petersfield (White Rose) Just said I wanted them just before the car was delivered and there they were when I picked it up. Look brill in my opinion on any colour.

I bought and fitted the premium sills but after seeing pictures of the cheaper one I think I should have bought them instead. There's still part of the door not protected and I can see scratches there. I'm thinking about fitting transparent foil to cover it.

Picture of premium door sills in Viper Green if anyone is interested - http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/scgall ... at=0&pos=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I recently bought a set of standard sill protectors. That's the black ones that don't say Scirocco on them but cover more of the sill.
I haven't fitted them yet but am a bit worried that if I fit them and then don't like them that it will be hard to take them off without damaging the paintwork.
Can anyone tell me if sill protectors (especially the standard ones) can be taken off easily without damaging the paint.
Thanks.
