Why spend stupid money for a plate when the majority of owners will sell their car on in a few years anyway?

An owner of a mint original might think about it if he intended keeping his car for years, but still not at this price.

It is too narrow a market, the guy is just chancing his arm.

By luck my registration is **09WRC.

Mine would attract far more intrest from people into the World Rally Championship because it is not restricted to a single brand or model and it is clear to the casual onlooker, so therefore I think that would be worth more than this, but still not near £1500.

A private plate is only worth what a buyer is will to pay for it and I think he will be very luck to get anywhere near what he is asking.

Not a bad turnaround within a week on a ~£700 purchase price, if they get the asking price.....
