I am currently in the market for a 2009-2012 scirocco, however my budget isn’t the greatest
I am look at cars with 90,000+ plus, I will be driving it on weekends only however sometimes long journeys
I have recently test drove the Diesel engine
I have been told to avoid the petrol engine
However I am unsure on a few things
1. How many miles before either of these engines starting degrading
2. Which engine is more reliable
3. Which engine is cheaper to maintain
What are your personal preferences
Excited to join the roc club in the coming weeks

2.0L petrol v Diesel
Re: 2.0L petrol v Diesel
Petrol because.
Get a diesel if you have a John deere that you can share the fuel cost with it.
Engines will last as long they are properly looked after, no chingalera tuner upgrades.
