P10A5/0426 potentiometer regulating flap for intake air. Sig

Post by Kendrick »

Does anyone have a diagram of where the wires are run for the throttle body on a 2011 CAVD 1.4L ENGINE.

I've had a intermittent issue, whenever i put my foot flat to the floor the car will what i can only describe as misfire as it accelerates. I have plugged the scanner in previously and been given no faults. Today it happened again but this time the car went into Limp mode (wouldnt go above 3000rpm). So i got my scanner and was presented with a ( P10A5/0426 potentiometer regulating flap for intake air. Signal too high).

May i note that a few months back the car had been in the garage for a similar problem as it wouldnt start or it would start then die.

The garage had then told me that it was a wire connected to the throttle body that was hanging on by a single strand. They claim to have fixed it n it did run good for a little while after.

Could this be the same problem coming back to haunt me? Any ideas where i should start looking?

Thanks in advance
