Hi everyone!
I have just picked up my first First Scirocco yesterday (12/02/2021) and it is absolutely amazing, I love everything about it, but I fear I have a problem with it already. It has the keyless entry system and when I go to start the car it turns on then turns off again no warning lights or anything, am I doing it wrong, do I need to hold my finger on the button for longer or is there something wrong with the car I'm really worried as this is my first car I have bought, please any advice you could give would put my mind at ease, I have 14 days to return the car if so for what ever reason.

Are you depressing the clutch when you hit the start button? (Assuming it’s manual)

Your key might have a bad transponder, have you tried starting the car with the other key?
