I am selling my Scirocco 2.0 GT 2008
I’m keen to know if there would be any interested people on this Forum who would be willing to take a look and possibly buy my car as it stands?
Last year I bought the car off my Dad who has owned it from new, it's a great looking car in Metallic Black with gun metal grey alloy wheels and brand new tyres, Panoramic sunroof, leather interior, ABS full exhaust system with a lifetime gaurantee and the engine has been remapped.
All in, it's styling is superb with a spec to match, so after I payed my dad for it I was happy to finally own it...
But it was a bumpy beginning in the space of 12 months the engine has had a new Manifold, 4 new Bosch fuel injectors and a new Water Pump... then after putting so much into repairing the car the timing chain tensioner gave up!
This happened when I turned the key in the ignition to start it up one morning then that was it.
So what I would really like to know is, are there any Scirocco Central members that have the mechanical know how and would like to purchase my beloved car for repair or spares?Let me know your thoughts and any help or advice you have to get me out of this car crisis please.
