Guess what Chris, got the Xmas tree dashboard again

Limp mode kicked in as I was doing a dodgy overtake on a 2 into 1 lane merger.

Think I'll just get the TB changed myself this time and stay away from the stealer :(

Like I wrote on the back wires, they were dodging the big expense on warranty.

Should go back as its not fixed. You shouldn't pay when they can't read.

I don't think its the throttle, still think its the wires and the one at the top of the list is G188's Blue with Green stripe wire for position reading. Runs from pin 4 (front 6 pin connector) on one of the two connectors at the throttle body to the engine ECU pin 27 on the 60 pin connector, not the 94 pin connector. Needs to lined out and waggled at the throttle end connection.

Hi guys, last week the EPC lamp came up and 'engine fault workshop' warning.
I put the ODB reader on the car and it read P0221, throttle signal implausible.

I reset the fault and restarted the car, ok.
Next day, same issue.

So, having read this thread I removed all the harness connections around the throttle body and rerouted the harness such that it was less taught, before reconnecting everything.

3 days of commuting later no warning lamp.

So, I plan to cut the harness back and replace the area which may be breaking down, just to rule it out.
I'll do a 'how-to' if anybody is interested.

Cheers for the help.

Sorry to drag an old post out of the dark.
Did anyone get to the bottom of this issue as I think I'm having the fault on my car.
Kind regards Adam
