Scirocco GT or R

Post by striker200181673 »

I'm about to trade in my 2.0 14 plate Bluemotion GT. Looking to get another scirocco, slightly newer at the same price monthly.

I love the R Line and i've seen a 65 plate, black, automatic with the full shebang of heated seats etc. Or my other option is to look at another scirocco GT in the 17 plate.

I'm swayed by the automatic and the 19" wheels on the R Line, but really is their much difference between the two?

I would go for the R-line as with the GT you will be getting more of the same so to speak. I think the R-Line will give a different driving experience with the DSG. But of course, depends on the condition of wither vehicle before you make your choice, but it would be the R-Line for me.

DSG is a superb gearbox and driving experience. However; make sure it has a full service history to be sure it’s been looked after. If not then walk away.

If you just want something to change your driving experience then only mechanical change will achieve this long term. Otherwise it’s just superficial and won’t last.

Take your time and find a good DSG. Doesn’t needy to be R-Line. Just looked after[emoji848][emoji189]
