Hi,
Last year I bought a 2011 2.0 GT DSG. The car was fitted with what I gather was a dealer fit Bluetooth module, The infamous 000 051 073A. At the time I had a Samsung S8 plus so paired it all up & happy days it worked. 3 months later I had a retro RNS510 fitted and everything was still OK. I then broke my phone and I cannot pair my new phone a Huawei P30 Pro no matter what I try it keeps on trying to search for the Samsung. Then a vocal message "automatic connection started" followed a short while later by" automatic connection stopped"
Pressing any of the buttons same result
I even bought another unit off ebay thinking the headunit had gone, same result.
I cannot find any info on the Internet to help sort it out, There is nothing, Not even on Youtube.
Just wondering if anyone on here has had the same issue and has sorted it
Thanks
Another Bluetooth issue

Re: Another Bluetooth issue
My guess is the phone is not compatible with the "old" module. I would replace the BT Module located under the driver's seat (RHD) to one of the later ones and it should work.
Re: Another Bluetooth issue
Where would I get one of those chap, Dealer or TPS?
Any idea of price?

As well as dealer and TPS, you could try Ebay or these guys in Poland;

With regards to part numbers, it's a bit of a minefield I'm afraid.
