Help needed with discover media gen2 headunit please

Hi all, I don’t know if this is the right place to post but I’m after a little help please my discover media gen2 headunit might need the firmware updating that’s what I’m told. The problem I’m now experiencing is that the DAB keeps losing signals few months ago it was good but now this past month it has gone really bad and I’m told that it sounds like I might need to update the firmware? Is there any where I can download the latest firmware from as I can’t find it on the downloads page on the VW website ? I can only find the map updates on there. Any help appreciated

Yes but Scirocco and Golf are basically the same car and as a consequence they share a lot of components and have the same issues. I believe the Discover media Gen 2 is also fitted to the Golf MK7 / 7.5, so it might be worth looking at one of those forums. I think the same unit is also used in some Skoda Octavia and Seat Leon models, so that maybe another route to investigate.

Ok thank you the headunit mentioned on that site you mentioned are not what I have in my 66 plate R Line Rocco I’ll have a look at the others see if I can find something as I do not want to go to VW unless I have to, ad I doubt it will be cheap
