Loss of power

Post by Th3wy »

I've a 59 plate Scirocco which has just had its injectors done after over fuelling. Apparently this is a common fault but a week after having them done I'm noticing a drop in power. Anyone had similar issues or any ideas. All advice welcome.

If you havent already, first thing to do is to scan for fault codes.

No fault codes.... I'm thinking fuel pump but I'm not sure and that pure speculation on my part since I'm not a mechanic. Before the old injectors failed it lost power.

Best thing to do would be to run some live datalogging using VCDS otherwise you could end up chasing your tail.
