Have recently sold my lovely 2011 Scirocco - if anyone is interested in purchasing genuine VW roof rails and bicycle carrier please see https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192945764098" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. This is by far the easiest solution to carrying a bike/skis/snowboard/roof box on a Scirocco and can be installed at home in no time.

Unfortunately the roof rails are quite large and heavy otherwise I'd be very happy to post. Happy to meet somewhere in between if it helps.
