i have check to see what requirements i need to make the high beam assist and i dont have the camera back of my on my center mirror. so even if i wanted i need to retrofit that camera...

there is a high beam assist without camera, you know?
you dont need to do the Passat camera to have high beam, there is a light diod one

i have seen a video on youtube someone retrofitting this. i think you have to change the 6 pin connector to 8 pin and have to connect canbus cable from the mirror to the canbus AFS module and then there are some coding and thats it. correct me if im wrong

Just connect to the can gateway, but the rest is right easy swap.

Will think about it. Im going to change the headliner so maybe ill just pass the cable and when i need to change it will be an easy change

all by my self, these things you cant get from VW for Scirocco, only in Passat.

Hi Marius, I seen your Retrofit of MIB2 to your Scirocco, did your unit have the CP removal done on the motherboard? Is the canbus gateway necessary for retrofit? I have been looking to do this retrofit for some time and have not found a lot of information on how to do this with Sciroccos. Any help appreciated and you car looks awesome!

i got a new DM and Tim from VCDSWorkx did the Component Protection direct to my 3D Cluster. So my Component Protektion is aktiv like in Real Facelift Scirocco.
Gateway is not realy nessesary, but i recomand to et a gateway that support 5F
