Timing chain

Post by Elkidgro »

Read that timing chains on 2009 plates is an issue as I have one with 47k on would it be wise to get it updated?

Also would it have to go to vw for that ?

Anyone know what the general price of that is?

The issue is with the design of the tensioner. To change it to the later revised part will cost in the region of £400 at an indie.
