Hi all,
Does anyone know if dsg gearboxes experience clutch slip as the clutch wears down? Similar to a manual box.
It could be me but I get the feeling my car isn't putting the power down as hard as it used to. Maybe I've just gotten used to it and it's time to get a tune ... [emoji6]
Cheers

Re: DSG Clutch Slip
The DSG compensates for any wear on the clutches. If you have concerns the first thing to do is to do a clutch adaption procedure using VCDS.

I can't get access to the page or the content has been removed. Is there another link you can post that would give me the information?

Try http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... t_Gearbox_(DSG/02E" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Do you have any fault codes stored? The box has sensors to detect clutch slip.

Oops. That doesn't work either. Think the URL is getting mangled. Google for "DSG Adaption" and it's the first hit.
