On cars with Xenons the cornering light is integrated into the headlight cluster.
On non Xenon cars I believe you.need to have it coded to have one of the foglights to come on as a cornering light. I may be wrong but I don't think it's activated from the factory.
I should add, this is for pre-facelift cars. Facelift models may differ.

I've seen this work nearly all seat/vw cars so I assume they've turneded it off ?
