I ran air lines from inside the car out of a grommet in the door hinge area accessed through the footwell (remove trim) then over the wheel arch lining into the engine bay where the brake lines go through.
Not sure what you're running but that should be suitable.
Hope that makes sense. Will send photos when I get home if you need?

Image I've got lines under the trim where the dash tool is (orange)
Image they come out this grommet in the door hinge area. Through a black plastoc piece (had to remove wheel and wheel lining to get to it and drill a hole in it. Image then over wheel arch internally above the foam insert to protect it from the wheel if it hit the lining (as I'm on airlift) then out in the bonnet. Hope they help difficult thing to take pics of

Looks propper complicating drilling holes! Is there any way of doing it coming through on the drivers side of the car? Using any grommets which already exists?

I didn't look into that side so wouldn't know. There's a plastic separator which I just drilled a hole in and then it was all okay.
I would assume there is an exciting hole under the dash but probably be quite difficult to access

That's exactly the problem I'm encountering was on here wondering if anybody knows a way but it looks like you're the only person, can't see how nobody has put Amps and subs in the back, must be an easy way, only need to push two wires through for a switch

Try this way, will be giving it a go soon too to route a vacuum line to the cabin.

When I retrofit zenon's and a host of other bits I used the standard routes from the engine bay into the cabin of the car....however it is really hard to see them.

There are 2 routes, one on each side of the car, the first is right under the brake master cylinder and virtually impossible to see from the engine, however if you remove some of the plastic trim under the dash of the drivers side foot well you should see this.

This is where you can push through into the engine bay, I used some thin garden wire and then pulled the cables through, this came through below the brakes, see highlighted below.

The passenger side is much easier, but you need to strip out some bits in the engine bay, you need to get to where the abs assembly is, see picture

And if you look closer you should see:

If you push a cable through from the engine bay into the car it should come out here:

Hope that helps.

not a dsg model. first 2 pictures are the drivers (right hand side) of the car. first picture is inside the car looking up from the foot well after removing some plastic trim.

Second picture is in the engine bay, just below the brake master cylinder
