Afternoon all,
Just thought i would put this out there. I have just purchased a 2010 2.0 tsi dsg Scirocco and whilst i am looking through some of the posts on here very occasionally people are talking about the upgraded timing belt tensioner.
Is there any way i can tell if the car has had a new tensioner e.g. part number on tensionor or different design. I could phone the garage that has performed the services but i would rather see proof that this sort of job has been done.
Also what sort of cost is involved in replacing the tensioner.
Cheers in advance
