Any fiscon installers North East

Post by Bigpete261 »

Hi all, just new to the site. I've been researching which Bluetooth to go for on my rns510 and everyone recommends the fiscon. Is there only one fiscon? Also does anyone know of anyone who could install it for me or supply and fit?
Thanks in advance.

In my opinion the OEM BT module that locates below the driver's seat is a better solution and works seamlessly with the headunit, MFSW and MFD.

You can find the part numbers on the forum, if you do a search or have a look on http://www.carsystems.pl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks mate, my only issue is getting it fitted in the North east. Is there anyone on here?

Its super simple mate. Just need to find someone with vcds. Put it behind the head unit instead, dont bother putting it under seat

Mate I'm super useless. I'd rather pay someone who lives close by lol.

Would you go with vw oem or fiscon?

My car had OEM bluetooth but the previous owner disconnected it and instead fitted a Polar FIS Bluetooth module due to handset compatability issues.

It worked exactly like OE and functioned excellently using the OEM head unit, wheels and display.

It is worth a look if it's easier to install, I think it's a tad cheaper as well.

Ok so if I go for the oem one. Would you know anyone that would fit it for me?

I'm having the same quandary - I've found an OEM that includes a fitting option:

http://www.carcommunications.co.uk/genu ... g-oem-kit-

But, then, there's this (on the compatibility tab)

Note 2. Vehicle may require coding at a VW dealership or a specialist with VAGCOM diagnostic software, after the kit has been installed. Coding not required if vehicle already had factory fitted Bluetooth telephone.

They've got FISCON too

http://www.carcommunications.co.uk/oem- ... koda-36496

That doesn't seem to require any VCDS programming.

I'm confused!
