Hello mates,
I need your help, as always ehehe
I was thinking yesterday about one thing. One member of my family has an Audi A4. The keyfob is almost identical as the same on my Scirocco. Well, if I try to open the door with the key, will it open? If I open with mine, the alarm will start beeping. I saw a video the other day about VCDS and config key fob. It had an immobilizer and the guy tried to start the car. The engine started and then shuts off. The problem here is... The key entered! So i started thinking about it... If they use it to open the door, they can rob everything i have inside. Expensive sunglasses, etc, etc...
Any solutions?
Please, explain me how it works and if it is really possible to open it using random VAG key because they all look the same.

They may look the same but it is cut different so the A4 key will not open the Scirocco and vice versa. O don't know exactly how many variations there are but I know there is enough that you don't need to worry about it.

So, you are saying that Scirocco will be the same or between Scirocco's there might also be a lot of variations?Cuprabob wrote:They may look the same but it is cut different so the A4 key will not open the Scirocco and vice versa. Scirocco ones are different too. I wouldn't worry about it.
If a professional car thief wants your car you'll get it. These days they tend to break into your house for the keys.

My house is protected, CCTV 1080p cameras, armored doors, perimeter alarm, fortified walls, etc... My problem is outside the house, I have expensive sunglasses, car documents, other documents, etc, on glove box. They can easily open the door and steal everything. Damn. Breaking the windows is hard. They can smash but will be very hard to get in because it has a very strong protective film. I will die inside it if I hit the water, the car will sink and i will drown...

I just want to do something to the barrel. Any ideas?
