How to turn miles left on/off ?

I drive a: 1.4 TSI 160
In: Deep Black
With a: Manual box

How to turn miles left on/off ?

Might be a really stupid question but I have a 1.4 tsi 10 plate. When I'm low on fuel it tells me my range but when I fill it up it just tells me the temperature ? I have one button to change the display and it switches it to some 3 digit number and the miles to my next service. Is there a way to get your range of miles left in a tank ? I've read the manual but can't find anything

I'm guessing vagcom is your only option

Have you tried using the two buttons on the end of the wiper stalk?

you know you can cycle through the MFD? current mpg, average mpg, range, oil temperature, radio stn etc...

How ? I don't have a steering wheel with the functions on
