Windscreen washer and rear wiper fuse help please?

Hi could anybody tell me the fuse and if needs be the relay I need to swap out or check for my front windscreen washers and rear wiper as they have stopped working the fuse diagram page has been torn out of my manual by the previous owner and I have searched high and low for a fuse diagram for the car with no joy it's a 58 plate scirocco 2.0 tsi gt if anybody could help please?

Fuse SB2 and SC41, you could have figured it out yourself.....

Can't be sc41 as that doesn't take a fuse I tried it's blocked off so doesn't let you fit a fuse there and fitted a fuse in sb2 what amp fuse should be there do you no as there was no fuse ther at first in mine?

What modelyear is your car 2008/2009? Can you check fuse sc41 also?

Hi mate it's a 58 plate and I checked sc41 ther was no fuse in ther and i tried to fit one but it's like it's bloked off as no fuse would sit in the slot? Also my 12v cigerete lighter has stoped working not sure if that's something to do with it as Wel?

Normally fuse 42 is for the cigarette lighter. But get the idea one off the bigger fuses has blown under the bonnet, what is not working on your car now? 12v cigarette lighter, rear wiper, washer fluid pump?

Yes mate also the horn has stopped working I've checked and taken off tooth horns and tested them on a battery both working fine so I'm guessing it's a fuse as wel or relay maybe?

Little update me bein a idiot was checking wrong fuses I was looking from the wrong side have checked fuse sb41 and sb42 now both fuses were fine but I still changed them for brand new fuses still no good could it be a relay or other fuses?

Yes seems like it but maybe good idea to run a fault scan, there must be a fault code in the computer.
Or a damaged relay is also possible.

Run a fault scan as in get it plugged into a computer or is there a way to bring up faults on the cars dash?

Late reply to this post still can't get the washer and rear wiper to work checked and replaced every fuse plugged the car in showing no faults at all can't get my head around it it's so annoying haven't got a clue what I can do now to check anything else?

Try to directly put 12v and ground on the washer pump. Maybe it's really toast. Does your rear window washer work? Because it's the same pump.
Then your stalk on the steeringwheel may be the problem.

this recently happened to me as well, Not working : front windshield washer, rear wiper, horn, cruise control, multifunctioning button on steering wheel + rear boot lid release.

Have you come to any solution? I will have possibility to check error codes only during next weekend.

Sorry to drag old thread up but did you ever figure out your issue?

I have just bought a 2013 tdi and the rear wiper is stuck on the front washers don't work and the left and right buttons on the right bank of buttons on the steering wheel don't work

Had a bit of a play with the washer again last night trying to hunt down a fuse or a relay with no joy on the Scirocco or my MK6 golf.

I did find that the plug that goes into the washer motor on my Mk6 has 2 permenant live feeds with 1 or the other switch to negative when stalk is pulled (windscreen washers) or pushed (rear washers). My Scirocco had no live feed at all. I checked the pump from Scirocco on the MK6 and it worked fine so I can rule that out as the issue.

I'm guessing try swapping the stalks over next to rule that out.

I've really trawled the net for location of Fuse or relay and can't find anything.. I checked all the fuses last night and they are all working !

The fuse for the washerpump isn't in the fuse diagram. I think you have to check every fuse seperately in the engine bay and inside of the car.
The rear wiper should be SC41 from 2010.
The stalks also can be the problem. It's a very annoying problem to solve.

Thanks for the response and glad I wasn't going mad trying to find a fuse. I have removed SC41 for now to shut the rear wiper up.

Still need to test the stalks on my Mk6 but struggling to find the time at the moment.
