Coding cornering / fog lights to work with Xenon shutter

Post by xjay1337 »

I have a MY09 Scirocco with the Mk6 dash and OEM xenons with cornering lights (seperate bulbs in headlilght cluster).
I have been able to code it so when I go into reverse, both the cornering lights come on however I would like it so I can have the fog lights and/or cornering lights come on when I activate full beam (with xenon shutter).

I've done some searching but can't quite find what I'm looking for, any help?

Byte 14 bit 2 in module 09 uncheck fog lights inactive with high beams active.
Don't know if this bit is present on a MY09.

Ok then it will not make a difference, you can only code the foglights at the same time with high beam.
Maybe also possible for the cornering lights but i think you will need vag can pro for this.

Hi!

I have a Golf 7, and I have enabled the fog lights to work at the same time as the high beam, with out using the switch lights to turn the fog lights on.
Is it possible to do the same with my Rocco MY10 with Xenon, to turn on the fog lights when I turn on the high beam?

"Byte 14 bit 2 in module 09 uncheck fog lights inactive with high beams active."

I believe this option is for when I have the fog light are on on the switch light, that prevent from the fog light to switch off when high beam are on.
