Tyre pressure monitor problem

Post by chapel »

When my tyre pressure warning light monitor lit up indicating a problem I re-inflated all tyres to the correct pressure and tried to re-set the monitor by holding the re-set button until there was an auditory signal, like the book says, but the signal never came and the warning light stayed on. I tried re-setting with ignition off, ignition on and engine running - no joy. Any suggestions?

Mine goes: ignition off, ignition on but don't start the engine, press and hold tpms button until it bleeps and the light goes off.

If that doesn't work I can't help.

Would be a great help to know if you fixed the problem - as I have the same issue.

Tried all combinations of ignition off - on etc.

Checked all tyre pressures - all as should be.

Many thanks
