What do you guys think of the optional rear spoiler ?

Post by pburgess22 »

Since the Scirocco has been released I think I have only seen about 3 cars with the alternate spoiler.

Is it just not very popular or not worth the upgrade price when new ?
I think they make the car look a tad more sporty and aggressive.

What do you guys think ?

Does anyone know if it's still possible to order the cup spoiler through the official dealer?

Just been looking at that actually. http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/acce ... 71646GRU/1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It would appear that you can at least on the site it is still listed at £445.00. Its says fully fitted but i wonder if that means painted as well ?

This seems correct.

The closest I could find to the (claims to be the official) cup spoiler is the following: -It comes primed, not painted-
https://www.kunzmann.de/shop/en/tuning- ... SC&caid=82" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The adhesive kit for mounting the spoiler is indeed a separate item:

I got mine off of eBay. Quality isn't as good as the OEM part however, but still looks tidy!
It came from Poland and needed a little work to get it to fit properly, but at £99, I thought it was worth a punt.
