Scirocco tsi 2.0 boost pressure regulation control help?

Scirocco tsi 2.0 boost pressure regulation control help?

Hi my scirocco tsi 2.0 has had a engine light come on had it plugged in showing up fault code 00665 boost pressure regulation control range not reached p0299 and also 00257 mass air flow sensor g70 implausible signal p0101

The doesn't seem to be running right at all loss of power and abit clunky goin threw the Rev range with the turbo any clues as to what it mite be anybody had the same problem or codes any help would be very appreciated thnks

You can cehck your maf scal on VCDS to see if it is responding correctly. Tbh ive havent heard of a tsi maf failing yet.

Also could be a boost leak. check the intercooler hoses to start off with

You could start with checking your air filter and hoses and then check/clean your MAF. Then check your diverter valve. If all is good then it might be a faulty turbo but I'm not sure. Someone else on here will be able to help you more than me!

Hi I took the maf sensor on and it looks brand new previous owner did say he had replaced this but by looking at it it still looks new also the maf sensor wen you unplug it from the clip it doesn't seem to do anything shouldn't it when its unclipped start revving more and make the car idle different as when I unclip it the stays the exact same as it is with it on or off? Any suggestions please?
