Lines on rear back windows?

This one has puzzled me since I got my rocco, are the lines on the back 2 Windows hear strips? They don't seem to do anything when I do have my back window on. Ridiculous post but it's doing my head it lol.

There's AM, FM, DAB and GPS aerials to fit in. Sure the GPS is on the roof, sure the DAB is on one of the windows, not sure about the others.

This is probably too much information, but here goes:

Early Cars (Pre-June 2009)
Left Window - AM , FM
Right Window - FM
Roof* - GPS (If fitted), DAB (if fitted will show as a "beesting" on the back of the "sharkfin"), GSM† (if fitted)

Later Cars (Post-May 2009)
Left Window - AM, FM
Right Window - FM, DAB (Replacement aerial amplifier required to use)
Roof* - GPS (if fitted), GSM† (if fitted)

† The GSM aerial is only fitted to cars that came from the factory with the old premium bluetooth (the one that doesn't like iPhones)
* If you don't have GPS or premium bluetooth fitted from the factory then the roof aerial is just a dummy.
