Hi,
My car has been mapped by a previous owner, and I don't like how aggressive it is, on a very accurate mustang dyno in AWD mode it somehow pulled 191bhp, it's a 2.0 CR tdi, on normal dynos it makes 205bhp these are wrong of course, yet my DPF is still in the car.. I think these figures are too high.
So I was thinking doing the VW emissions recall software update, will this un map my car? I would much rather have a proper tuner custom remap the car with the figures I want.
Ideas?
emissions recall wipe remap?

Recall update has not been released yet but when it is and if you choose to have it done, yes it will overwrite your current map.
You could just ignore the recall and just go to another tuner and have them overwrite your current map.

My old car was a 170 tdi and that was dyno run at 208bhp with just a vwr intake. (Revo stage 1)
