Fitting Powerfold Mirrors

Post by GERFIX »

Hi chaps! I've broken the black surround on my OS door mirror due to a combination of stupidity and the inability to reverse properly into my garage........

My question is, if I picked up a powerfold version (mine are non-powerfold at the moment) can I fit it and still have it operating normally (but without the folding) until such times as I replace the NS and have the coding done? Or would it be dead until then?

It will be fine. All the standard mirror features will work on the powerfold mirror without changing the coding, then when you change the coding it will enable the puddle light and fold functions.
