scirocco 2.0tdi 140 CR 2010 engine rattle? rough?

Hi,

so just got my rocco it's a 2010 140 cr tdi done 63k and just changed the flywheel cause of a gearbox/engine rattle. This has made the car much smoother but the rattle from the right and side of the engine is still there on idle, and in drive on the bite, so I'm thinking engine maybe? or gearbox? happens at 1000rpm to around 1800 rpm, also this engine doesn't seem as smooth as my old GTD 170 engine, that was alot more refined? dont know if this is an issue? bit confused

Same 'problem' on my 2.0TDI CR136 (same engine as the 140 but different software). Was looking into it but only thing I found was something with the wastgate. A piece that resonated at those RPM, will look if a find that topic.

I heard of the wastegate issue on the tsi's but we don't have traditional wastegates, we have VNT turbos, is yours rough running? like with mine I can feel the roughness when driving till around 2000 rpm, feels unbalanced the engine does, having the engine mounts done tomorrow, will report back!

No I do not have the feeling that the engine runs rough.

So! just got my gearbox mount changed, omg what a difference. cars only done 60k but the play in the bush was substantial I'd say. I would look into changing or having engine mounts checked.

Now the car still makes a weird flywheel sound (even though I have a brand new flywheel) but I can't feel it everytime I drive. So going to head to VW for software update this will hopefully help, then I'll get the injectors looked at, and then another new flywheel again.
