Volkswagen Renewal

Post by JohnsonAsco »

I got a call today from Volkswagen from where my car is on lease/option to purchase saying how I've had my car now for a while ect ect and inviting me in to discuss my options, what shall I expect from them? I was actually looking to go in there soon anyway but off my own back instead of them inviting me in.. Will they try and ramp me up with another deal with no discount or what? Would rather no some stuff of what to expect from past experience on here as its my first time, the cars been effected by the emissions scandal also.
Cheers

They're struggling to sell cars as far as I can see, so previously unheard of discounts are available at the moment.

I had 2 calls in a week from local dealers. Considering i've only ever been in for servicing and never actually bought a car from them i was quite surprised!

I'll let use know what the outcome is after I've been there, hoping to get a Golf R.

To give you an idea, I'm seeing discounts on the Golf R of 10% - 12% without trying plus £500 loyalty discount if you currently have a VW plus £1250 deposit contribution, if you go down the finance route.

That's for a new factory order. If they have a stock car to your spec, I'm sure they will go further.

Only car they won't discount is the Golf GTI Clubsport (Edition 40).
