Im looking at getting my 140 TDI to 200.
I know a stage 1 will get me to around 175 but is their anything else i could do thats fairly cheap to get the extra power.
Also if you do recommend anything should i do this before or after the map. thanks

My 140 tdi is currently at 196 last time it was on the rolling road.

The only engine mods it has is
Stage 1 map
Vwr panel filter

Are you sure thats all you've added? if so then it might cost me less than i planned  . I just thought to get to 196/200 i'd have to add more than just the map and filter.

My opinion you would need more than that. 140 stage 1 your looking at around 170 -180 if your lucky and an optimistic rolling road. And a panel filter adding 20bhp? Lol I don't think so.

My 170 with stage 1 revo is running 205 based on revo figures.
So how can a 140 go to 200 if my 170 only just gets it. And I already have 30 bhp on a 140. :?

You are correct.

196bhp from a 140 engine isn't going to happen with just a map and filter. The turbo just won't flow it.

You didn't remove your dpf and put another downpipe on it? And how much does it smoke on full load?
A renomated remapper i know over here reaches 185 bhp and 415 Nm after removing the dpf and putting a new downpipe on it. (stock 140 bhp).
And 163, 170 and 177 bhp are getting remapped to 205 bhp and 430 Nm, just what Jack says.

Sell it, buy a 170/184 tdi. That's the cheapest way to get to get a 200bhp derv.
