How long did you wait for your Scirocco?

Hi, everybody, this is my first post here.
I am Portuguese and my written (and spoken) english is far from perfect, but I hope you understand.

I just got my Scirocco 1.4TSI DSG7 this week. It's the "Sport" version, which I think is roughly the same as the UK "GT" version. I'm delighted with it.
I had to wait for about 7 weeks to get the car delivered. I was lucky because some other guy had a reservation for the car and didn't want it anymore.
Here in Portugal the "waiting time" for the Scirocco is about 4 to 5 months.
This is really strange, as the Portuguese factory where all Sciroccos are made is working at only 60% of it's capacity.
The seller told me it's because of the portuguese "quota" for this vehicle - only a small, limited amount of Sciroccos are to be sold in Portugal.
My question is: how long did you have to wait for your Sccirocco to be delivered after reservation?

I ordered my car in September 08 and it was delivered Jan 09. It was delayed due to the Xenon's though, an extra 2 months or so.

I ordered mine on 27th March, and delivery to dealer is due on 25th June (then I will have to wait 7-10 days for delivery), so 12-13 weeks for me. I've ordered a 2.0 Tsi GT, can't wait :hyper:

My wait was similar to the other guys here, ordered around 6th Jan and took delivery on 28th March. So just under 3 months.

I ordered mine on the 6th March 2009 and picked it up on the 17th April, so around 6 weeks.
TÜV Approved, Nürburgring Tested.

ordered a 2.0 TSI in March - build week 24 - haven't got a delivery date yet but expect first week of July (going to Belfast, N Ireland)

Called the dealer again today to add Parking Sensors. Estimated build week 34 (same as 3 weeks ago).

I ordered on May 12, so 14 weeks to build, add 1 to 2 weeks for delivery = 15 to 16 weeks total.

To me it seems the UK has shorter delivery times that the rest of us (I'm from NL), but to be fair, it could also be my spec.
And the wait continues... :kickcan:
