Airbag fault

Post by nemerkh »

Happy new year fellas. As above my airbag light has come.
Now i have a suspicion that changing my light bulbs might be a culprit.
So first time i changed my bulbs next day i had the airbag light pop on. Went to the garage who fiddled with the connection under the passengers seat and reset it was fine. Few days later one of the bulbs went so had to change them again, next day airbag light come on again!
Any advice on this?

Normally it is the connections under the seat. Which bulbs are you replacing?

Are you sliding the seats right back when you replace the bulbs?

Just the headlight bulbs. The seat does slide back and forth a lot with kids. Maybe its just a coincidence

Can't see a connection between a blown headlight bulb and the airbag system, so my guess it's a coincidence.
