Nothing dude still collecting parts etc, work has been busy so not had time. My plan was to have it all done for next years GTI International so got plenty of time
Just read through this. Not sure if you know I'd imagine you probably do but vw have updated the timing chain for this engine I've fitted it to my own car. With all the extra power well worth buying that too.

Not sure as I got it in a rebuild kit with all gaskets, uprated ARP bolts etc. You should be able to get a price pretty easy online or from the dealer/TPS

Alright mate hows the car going? Have you got any info or pictures of all your turbo and manifold bits and bobs etc. I am very interested in an upgrade in the future but am wondering if anything other than k04 (Garrett 2867R?) can be used on the 2.0tsi without blowing the engine.
Cheers!

Nothing, the car has not been touched since my last update
You would need to do internal work for any form of garrett really, let alone the fact I cannot find a single person who will map the car with a garrett

Oh right, busy guy! I guess a K04 kit is probably all i'd end up doing then, not gonna take the engine apart on a daily hehe, cheers!
Options: HID's, VCDS tweaks, interior & number plate LED's, DTUK stage 2, Kenwood head unit, black VW badges, covered cup holder, H&R springs, BCS Rear exhaust, OCD detail by the man himself.
Gazza, if you are still looking for somebody to custom remap your car give Rick at Unicorn Motorsports development a buzz. Just sold on an Audi S3 stage 2+ with a Revo generic map. They state 350-370ps as the expected bhp output, it was putting out 323 at the wheels. Rick reckoned he could extract 350 with his own map. His RR is calibrated and gives real world, not optimistic figures.
One thing you forgot regarding the awesome look of your R converted machine is to paint the mirror caps glossy black like all the R's
Amazing project...one of the biggest I've seen!!! Muchos respect!
How difficult is it to code the white MFD cluster to my 2008 2.0 TSI (of course using the cable adapter)?
I cant private message but was wondering if you could spare a min to send any info you have on rewiring the rear light connectors for the facelift led?

Regarding the clocks, I paid someone to do it as you have to use vagcom, and another tool to code new keys. Paid £180 I think to have it done, can pass you his number if you need.
